Who I am
I am an experienced lawyer with a proven track record of success. For much of my career, I worked as a trial attorney within the Office of the Colorado Attorney General. While there, I provided representation and legal advice to the Colorado Department of Corrections, the Parole Board, and the Department of Public Safety, including the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. I represented these agencies, executives and the employees faced with constitutional challenges, prison discipline proceedings, habeas corpus petitions, parole issues, and contract related matters. I also provided legal advice to the various agencies regarding legislative matters and legal impact of changes to their respective administrative regulations.
Since my legal career began, I have amassed an impressive courtroom track record, having tried over 20 cases to verdict and having argued 5 cases to the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
I have now transitioned into a new area of law, where I leverage my extensive legal expertise to assist clients across a broad spectrum of legal matters. This new focus allows me to provide comprehensive legal support, addressing the diverse needs of my clients.
Additionally, I am also passionate about helping individuals and families plan for their future through meticulous and thoughtful estate planning, ensuring their assets and loved ones are well-protected and their wishes are honored. However, it is not only important to protect a family’s financial wealth, but also their legacies. I now understand, through my wife, the need for families to also preserve and pass on their values, beliefs, life lessons, hopes, and dreams for their loved ones.
I live in Littleton, Colorado with my wife and four children, Jameson, Cambridge, Cortlan, and Ashyln. When not working, I spend most of time with my family and enjoy watching my children grow and mature.
